It is important to use the right verb patterns. When we use another verb after enjoy, like or love, we often use -ing forms:
I enjoy playing football.
I like watching movies.
I love going on holiday.

When we use another verb after prefer, we use -ing forms or to + infinitive:

I prefer playing tennis.
I prefer to eat a bit later.

When we use another verb after want, we use to + infinitive:
I want to talk to Max.
